This is an email that was on the VegSoc list and although it is talking about vegetarian (not vegan) food - if they can't get the labelling right then can they be trusted on anything!

Perhaps we should all write to Trading Standards and complain that they are in breach of the Trade Descriptions Act...

Asda is a UK supermarket chain which was brought out by Wal-Mart about 5 years ago... there's even the quasi-religious "Asda-tru" cult, who just last weekend celebrated "WalMartPurchaseNacht" (and yes, they do really exist!!!)

OMG, the WallyWorld virus is spreading. My sister worked at corporate many years ago and I won't even walk on the same side of the street as those places!

Asda is a UK supermarket chain which was brought out by Wal-Mart about 5 years ago... there's even the quasi-religious "Asda-tru" cult, who just last weekend celebrated "WalMartPurchaseNacht" (and yes, they do really exist!!!)
