I want one of those VD-hearts you are making with candy Judy.

I'm going to pig-out at work tomorrow if I can find enough veg. food

that is.

Happy VD to you, Brad

Hubby and I are having a candlelit dinner. I'm the chef and he's the server

and busboy :) That way we get exactly what we want, HOW we want it:) So

far I've got in mind for dinner is salad, , eggplant parmesana ( can't

spell that sorry ) , garlic bread and strawberries with balsamic vinegar.

If I don't come up with a better idea by tomorrow, then that's the menu.

And 2 movies came in on blockbuster today, so I'm sure we'll watch one of

those as well.

Well, Valentine's Day is now over for me (Australia). I made

dinner for hubby. Found some heart-shaped pasta so made a pasta

with tomatoes, chickpeas and parsley. Had a side salad with homemade

raspberry vinagrette (courtesy of Susan at Fatfreevegan.com)and

finished off with some fat free vegan brownies.

I then took him to a local production called " I Love You, You're

Perfect, Now Change " . It was a musical comedy and was great. He

also got a new van today, so he made out like a bandit :) He

picked me some flowers which is doing well for him as he doesn't

even usually know when VD is. Hope everyone has a great Valentines

Day!

Cheers,

Kathy

Judy,

Did you see in Martha Stewart this month she teaches how to make our own

heart candy box. I am not crafty but I thought it was great. I am sure she

shares it online also. School was canceled today so since I work at a school I

also have off. I don't plan on driving anywhere but we will go outside and play.

I made a heart shaped lunch for my boys and made some goodies for tonight. We

plan on watching a children's movie from Netflick with fondue then later my

husband and I will exchange gifts. With the snow like it is I am so glad we

didn't make plans to go out. Stay warm and safe everyone.

Save the heart boxes for next year so you can buy better candy to put in
