Does anyone know of anything natural to prevent scaring? My son 5 year

old scratched my 10 year old. I didnt think it was that deep it has

been a week and it isn't healing in fact it looks like he could have

needed stitches. Thanks a lot

We use Vit E. Oil (you can buy bottles of just the oil, not in a capsule, in

the vitamin section at Wal-Mart) and mix it with some Aloe Vera gell(also from

Wal-Mart). I just put a little of each in the palm of my hand and mix it

together and put on any scratches. We used to do this in the hospital and it

really worked on those wounds that folks had, to not scar or have very minimal

one. It will also help to reduce the appearance of scars one already has. I

use it as a body lotion after showers every day. It works great!.

walk to shaws with the boys (just a block away) and look. I forgot about aloe.

Hugs from me and Aaron,

The seed is in bloom, will it meet an early doom

or survive in a tranquil sea?

Does it face an early end, will it find a real friend,

should it be called humanity?

Will creation of man bring death by his hand

or will life be his destiny?

The Seed - Rare earth

Viatmin E is your body's natural healer. It's what keeps your skin elastic

and eventually makes the scars fade. You can get some great vitamin E

lotions out there, that's what I used to help my stretch marks fade after I

had my son and keep them from getting as bad with DD and now with this baby.

My sister had surgery on her knee, twice, resulting in a 10 inch scar down

her leg across her knee cap. She got vitamin E capsules, broke them open,

and rubbed the gel directly on her scar. HTH

Vitamin E caps broken open and applied to the scar or comfrey ointment

(which I believe I posted to this group a couple of weeks ago but will post

again if you are interested).
