Guest guest
I am sure we must have some campers here. I have been searching for some extra special camp recipes. They are really few and far between. And our file is sadly lacking. Anyone have any special recipes? Guest guest
This may be cheating just a little bit, but if one wants some fantastic recipes for out door cooking, just type " Chuck Wagon " in to your browser and you will find all you need. I personally like dutch oven but some don't. After all it was the Grand daddy of the crock pot. Ronald Leeeeeeee Sue <kup wrote: I am sure we must have some campers here. Guest guest
I dutch oven cook. And I guess that will be what I will use. Anything I can bake at home, I can bake while camping. I did find two recipes...one for D O lasagna and one for D O bean and cornbread casserole. Sue ---- Ronald Stanford 02/16/07 14:03:56 Re: Camping recipes, anyone? Guest guest
My doctor has me on a 500 calorie diet. I read your E-mail about the casserole BEANS AND CORNBREAD, AND I'm NOW READY TO KILL FOR SOME. By the way, just in case anyone notices it, ever so often I hit the cap key and loose it. At my age I am starting to loose my eye sight, I have had two surgeries this year.... Sorry, it's just to hard to do it twice. Ronald Lee Sue <kup wrote: I dutch oven cook. Guest guest
Hi Sue, The only one that comes to mind, was a dessert we used to make. You take a banana, cut a slit in it, the long way, pull back the skin and create a small " V " shape. ( do not peel banana ) take small amount of chocolate bar, break into peices and place in banana, take some marshmellows and cut up or use mini marshmellows, place in banana with chocolate, place skin over this, wrap the whole thing in Foil and place in the coals of the fire for about 15 minutes or until soft and warm. Then yu just peal back the banana and its warm and wonderful. Eat it right out of the foil ! Hope this helps. Susan ______________________________\ ____ Food fight? Guest guest
OMG, I had this ONCE. I promptly ended up on the couch almost comatose & needing to vomit. I worried my family & they made me guzzle a few glasses of water until I DID um...get it out of my system. SO SO SWEET. Too much sugar. But it WAS yummy. Guest guest
I have never heard of a 500 calorie died. Have you thought of a second opinion. I have a lot of weight to lose and I am on a 1200 calorie diet. I would think a 500 calorie diet would send your body in shock let alone what it will do for your sugar levels. Best of luck Steph Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Answers.
