Guest guest
Hi, No, I don't refrigerate it. I do usually store it up-side-down, to encourage the oil to separate less quickly. I should have mentioned that 375 grams of peanuts + 1/4 C oil makes about one and one-half cups of peanut butter. This amount doesn't last very long around my house. Guest guest
What about at the grocery store where they have those natural peanut butter things? you know, you push a button or a crank or something, and peanut butter comes out? how do those work, and is it any good? I usually buy a jar because it's easy. Trader Joe's is the tastiest I have found.
Guest guest
Oh that is great stuff and it doesn't seperate. I love all the nut selections that places like that carry to make butters out of. I make nut butters in my vita mix, out of roast nuts. I really love making it out of honey roasted peanuts. I just add a little bit of peanut oil to the Vita-mix container with the peanuts and in just seconds, I have fantastic peanut butter. Guest guest
It's great stuff! My local Fred Meyer (Kroger chain) has one of those machines - 1 side loaded with peanuts, 1 side with almonds. So nice to know the only thing in my peanut butter is peanuts. I keep it in the fridge and have no separation at all. Peace, Diane , " Marilyn ;-) " <magildl wrote: > > What about at the grocery store where they have those natural peanut > butter things? you know, you push a button or a crank or something, > and peanut butter comes out? > how do those work, and is it any good? > > I usually buy a jar because it's easy.
