Guest guest Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 Green Beans with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese (Greek) 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 cup onions, diced 1 28 oz. can chopped tomatoes 1 can sliced black olive 1/4 teaspoon oregano 2 10 oz. boxes frozen French style green beans, thawed and drained 4 to 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled Saute onion and garlic in olive oil for a minute- be careful not to burn. Add tomatoes, olives and oregano and simmer for about 5-8 minutes. Add green beans and simmer for another 5 minutes. Just before serving sprinkle feta cheese on top. These are delicious hot or cold.
