Thanks Elchanan for your info on B-12 I'm really glad you responded, I'm

going to keep on the 100% raw fruit, vege., and nut path and not worry to

much about B-12 today.

I take spirulena from the vitamin shoppe, I notice a huge difference in my

energy. My mom took B-12 the whole time I was growing up. I also have to watch

my iron, I have a history of anemia. I can tell when my iron is low very

easily. Amy

Does anyone take a b-12 supplement? If so, what kind do you take?

 

And if you take it, what do you think the benefits are of taking it? I am

I started taking vitamins, but liquid vitamins and my kids also take vitamins,

because now they say that most of our foods don't have the vitmains that we

need...Our bodies lack the vitamins that the foods don't have...

Hi Rachel,

 

If you are vegan then you might need it. Only a blood test can tell you

for sure. I became vegan in mid January and since then I have been

trying to include some nutritional yeast in my diet every day.

(Nutritional yeast is rich in B12.)

I do. I take Schiff Vitamin B complex with B-12. That is very important for a

vegetarian. Without it we loose neural connections that cannot be recovered.

My daughter swears by spirlena, but I haven't tried it. She laughs at me and

tells me that at my age, too much energy may be dangerous.

I am not all that old, she is just a brat!
