Guest guest
Could I request that any recipes which are not TNT by the person posting them are clearly marked as such. The joy about this group was that the recipes posted were supposed to have been tried out and therefore recommended by the person posting them. This means that any questions about the recipe could be directed to that person. I don't mind being a guinea-pig (after all, that is what I am being each time I try out a new recipe from one of my many recipe books) but I would rather know that in advance. Guest guest
-Christie, I am just not familiar with TNT what do those letters stand for? Reading your post I am assuming they mean a 'tested' recipe. Guest guest
Short for Tried 'n True, Deanna, as per the group's home page which says " All TRIED AND TRUE vegetarian ovo-lacto and vegan recipes welcome. " I don't object to recipes that aren't, like the Cashew Chard " Burritos " recipe that Chupa posted earlier today, but I'd rather that the recipe says that it isn't TNT before I take my chances with it. Maybe I'm just being pernickety. Guest guest
Yes, I do understand this, Amy, but in some recipes the ingredients or instructions are ambiguous or just plain don't work and if someone has tried them then they can give advice on that specific recipe and how it worked out for them. If I just want " a recipe " I could get it online or from a cookery book (of which I have a myriad.).
