Guest guest
Do they show the ingredients? Many times they contain benito (it's usually a dried fish powder) Are you sure those aren't Japanese chips, a flavored round rice chip in 3 colors. Guest guest
we went out to get some chinese last night they set a bowl out before the meal. I tried to ask what they are and the person didnt understand. They smelled so good but I didnt dare to eat them since the pink one smelled of shrimp course I don't know what they fry everything in. I was just curious. Thanks Donna Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited.
Guest guest
If they are what I am thinking of, they aren't vegetarian. My dad used to buy these chips in china town (Boston) that were made mostly of potato flour but flavored with shrimp....we called them shrimp chips but I'm sure there is a real name or them. They were pale pink, green, yellow and white. I wish they were veg-friendly, since they are super tasty! ~Rachael , Steph <mrswalp29 wrote: > > we went out to get some chinese last night they set a bowl out before the meal. Guest guest
I'm certain those pink ones have shrimp in them, if not then dried benito. Guest guest
Those have dried fish powder, MSG and all the things you don't want. I know those chips too. I used to buy them at the Japanese market before I became vegetarian. Marsha , " Rachael " <rw1647 wrote: > > If they are what I am thinking of, they aren't vegetarian. Guest guest
thats the thing with going out of your own personal kitchen you never know what they cook with. I was just looking online and some chinese recipes call for oyster sauce. That is my weakness I love chinese food so we normally order veggie fried rice, veggy egg rolls and general tao's tofu with broccoli. So darn yummy. Steph TV dinner still cooling? Guest guest
I love chinese food, too, so I make my own. I lived in China for several years back 30 years ago and learned to cook their food, Now I just adapt the same recipies to vegi-pure.
