Guest guest
Just wanted to clarify that I wasn't trying to put down any particular brand of tofu or say it was hard to use this cookbook with anything but that brand. I think I just forgot that not everyone bristles at anything that feels remotely like advertising (the way I do). Sorry about not being clear! I hope it didn't come off like I was trying to be argumentative. I like " The Art of Tofu " recipes I've made *a lot* and I use MoriNu when I want to make something that needs silken tofu. I'll send the pudding recipes in the next day or so, but I hate when I don't express myself well, and I really love it here, so I just wanted to quickly try to (hopefully!) do a better job of saying what I meant. Peace, hugs, and yummyness, Maureen
Guest guest
All is fine Maureen. : > )) I guess I didn't realize what you were getting at. When I really love a particular brand of products, that is what I encourage, because it is what I like best. That may be what this author was stressing too. I understand and the silken tofu's aren't the best for making the Scrambled Tofu Eggs with. The person that showed me the recipe for the Scrambled Tofu Eggs, said that reg. tofu works better for it, so that is what I use instead of silken for that recipe, but the silken may work just as well. I think that is the only recipe I use reg. tofu for instead of the silken Mori-Nu Tofu. Guest guest
LOL I also meant to add that, I often sound like a walking and typing(like on here)advertisement for products that I find to be outstanding. I'm not being paid by anyone to plug a product, but it is always good to get product reviews, so that is why I do speak up about products we love. I hope it will be a help to others. Guest guest
Certainly helped me re: the Worthington Fri-Chik I'm glad you recommended that. Is the steak as good? And if I don't use a whole can of Fri-Chik, how long will the rest keep? Thanks Judy Peace, Diane , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > LOL I also meant to add that, I often sound like a walking and typing(like on here)advertisement for products that I find to be outstanding. > I'm not being paid by anyone to plug a product, but it is always good to get product reviews, so that is why I do speak up about products we love. > I hope it will be a help to others. > > Judy
