Guest guest
Thanks for posting this. The reason I didn't copy the Linda McCartney recipe was only because it started out with veggie burgers, which would make it more expensive, yes? I'll bet it's good, though. Guest guest
Gimme lean is sold in the freezer section I think and you can make it into a loaf, patties or balls. You can also use TVP to make them. Gayle

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Hi all! In preparation for my new baby's arrival, I've started freezing some meals and so-called " meal kits " to avoid the fast food trap that is likely to set in. A friend of mine mentioned making meatballs, they can be baked, frozen, then simply reheated for meals or snacks. What I'm lacking now is a good recipe for meatballs that don't contain meat. I still haven't ventured into the world of tofu, so I'd like to avoid that for now, or at least until I have time to try it out and test it on the family. Also, I'd appreciate a mix that can possibly converted easily into a " meat " loaf or " ham " burgers or other similar meals! TIA, Liz _______________ Find what you need at prices you’ll love. Guest guest
I use Gimme Lean often. In fact, I am making sausage gravy this AM. But, I have only seen it in the sausage flavor, although I have seen it is in the b**f flavor. The sausage is really good, especially with blueberry pancakes. Guest guest
Hi there! So you basically use lentil? Do you have to soak the lentils first for a few hours or what? I want to try that recipe. joy Mike <realshows wrote: I use lentils... mix with lots of eggs and bread crumbs, fry in balls and then bake with sauce Need Mail bonding?
