I have to wonder where the software found

58 mg of sodium in this recipe; I see none.

Might actually be more than that: 1 TB of chili powder (depending on

brand, etc.) could have 70+ mg. There are traces of sodium in almost

everything naturally.

http://www.calorie-count.com/calories/item/2009.html

It was interesting to compare a bunch of different items: 1 TB garlic

powder 2 mg sodium (same as 1 cup strawberries), 1 cup fresh raw green

beans 7 mgs, 1/2 cup nigari tofu 10 mgs.

The recipe here though has *got* to be lower than the packaged kind :)

Peace,

Diane

Good call. Guess I'm so used to the straight-up chili pepper

powders (of various varieties) that I get, it didn't occur to

me that the standard ones often have salt in them.

And things just have sodium in them, even without added salt in mixes.

10mg in 1 TB cumin seed (surprised me!). I love how the things that

come up in this group make me go learn stuff. :)

Peace,

Diane
