Guest guest
Amy, will you please give some specifics on this? It's now grilling weather and we got 'er going this past weekend. I would like to try something new. Do you baste it or marinate it with/in anything...is it fresh when it's grilled? Thanks. S. I don't have an outdoor grill, just a grill pan on the stove, so hopefully these directions still work for you... I buy the fresh pods, and I read somewhere that smaller ones were better so I usually try to get those, but it doesn't seem to matter much to DH! I spray them with a little olive oil, sprinkle 'em with salt, and grill until they're tender and marked. Have to turn them once or twice, and it doesn't take long. When done, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and eat hot. (He likes all the traditional ways of eating okra too, but this is one of his favorites.) Guest guest
Donna, maybe I can finally get my husband to eat okra with your recipe. Thank you!!!
Guest guest
You're welcome. Try to stuff it and also cut it into rounds and toss in soups. It's delicious and so many people it eat when I make it and end up asking for the recipe. It's in many of the recipes in our files. One day when Diane and I have time I think we should start an Okra Recipe Folder. Donna --- aust4freng <werus wrote: > Donna, maybe I can finally get my husband to eat > okra with your > recipe.
