Guest guest
Hi all, Does anyone have a recipe for a slightly better for you pecan pie? My boyfried's birthday is coming up next month, and that is the treat he has asked for, but we have also been eatting the South Beach diet way, so I was hoping to find some way to make something kind of like pecan pie, but with less sugar? I have a bunch of phyllo (sp?) sheets, and was thinking of using that with the pecans, but unsure on how to make the " pie " filling part. Any ideas would be great! As for the South Beach Veggie way, it's going great! Tons of wonderful tastey food, even in the first phase. The BF is always excited to see what we will be having for dinner I think the favorite was the stuffed red peppers, or maybe the portabella w/ goat cheese and spinach. Last night was temphi for the first time It's pretty good, if you can get over the " mold " looking stuff in it. Thanks again! Libby Be a PS3 game guru. Guest guest
There can't be such a thing as sugar free honey. Sugar free honey flavoring? Sugar free honey-like syrup. There is, of course sugar free pancake syrup, but it's not really maple syrup : ) , Beth Renzetti <elmothree2000 wrote: > > whoa, I missed *something* - how on EARTH do you get sugar free honey???????? > > Libby Mung <Charming12u wrote: Thanks! > > I think I'll give the first one a try Any ideas on where to find sugar free honey? Guest guest
Wal-Mart sells a Sugar Free Honey. The brand is: " Honey Tree's " The ingredients listed as: Malitol Syrup, Natural and artificial flavor, Acsesulfame K, Malic Acid. One does need to watch for the digestive problems that can happen with this product. But it is an alternative for those who cannot or choose to reduce the " Sugar " in their diets. Maybe this is what the recipe is refering to. A product that is an alternative for diabetics.
