Guest guest
I'm vegetarian not vegan. I eat butter and use eggs in cooking. I have cow's milk allergy so I do miss a BIG chunk of cheese now and then, eggs I never did care for. I own some leather, if someone gives me shoes with leather trim for a birthday or Christmas gift I use them. I have picked up leather purses at the thrift shop since they are recycled. I'm sure many of us have taken prescription drugs that have been highly tested on animals. I buy vegetarian vitamins and avoid gel caps made with gelatine. I use Whole Foods shampoo and body wash, Dr. Hauschka skin care products, they are not tested on animals and the ingredients are vegetarian friendly. You're right we do the best we can and you can go nuts trying to watch every single thing. I don't judge or preach to anyone else, live and let live. I refuse to become a fanatic about anything except my music.....LOL. It's even harder to be heartless when you look at me that way. You're as mighty as the flower that will grow the stones away. Guest guest
I agree with the music part. Of course I do not believe I am a fanatic. My wife tends to disagree and believes over 5k or 6k CD's, plus vinyl and casettes and many Gb's of downloaded music does make one a fanatic. Fortunately she does keep buying me shelves for the CD's. ;<) Gary --- Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > I refuse to become a fanatic > about anything except my music.....LOL. > Donna
Guest guest
The football I use is leather and I had it since before I was a vegetarian. I bought a used car with sheepskin covers already in it so I left them in there. I do what all the rest of you do. I try to read labels but I don't always know if it is 100% Ok since I don't know what some of the words mean. I been a vegetarian for over 1 1/2 years now and it's a big inprovement for me. I used to live in line at the taco or the burger stands. Paul , Gary Mattingly <gsmattingly wrote: > > I agree with the music part. Of course > I do not believe I am a fanatic.
