Guest guest
I am sure I have asked before but my 5 years old suffers from allergies. Right now he has 101 fever and headache I think it is because of my Easter flowers. The doctor won't put him on claritin does anyone know of a natural way? Steph Need Mail bonding? Guest guest
My grandaughter has been on allergy & asthma meds since she has been about 2.. If he does have allergies take him to an allergist and there he can get help.. She takes singulair & zyrtec.. Two pills, chewable.. I started taking singulair this last summer and it helps so much, I also started on nasonex at the same time... I would be so miserable if I didn't take it and getting sick with sinus infections and everything.. Guest guest
I would try vitamin C but make your own. Squeeze 2 whole lemons and add some honey and a cup of water, twice a day. It is a natural antihistamine and can really help prevent any infection that wants to take advantage. My daughter had ear infections, is it normal to run a fever with allergies? Guest guest
We were actually at the doctor yesterday with my 16 year old son. He got 4 flea (or maybe spider, but we're hoping flea) bites and they swelled up to the size of a softball. One of them has gotten infected from him scratching it apparently and he's been running a fever and taking Benadryl like crazy. He was also red all over. I asked his doctor about it and he said that yes, they can run a fever with allergies. Apparently this year is especially bad because the weather has been so crazy. We've been running in the very high pollen counts for the last month now. He's started taking antibiotics and Claritin and he's feeling a lot better. The bite that was infected is healing well, the swelling is down, the redness is gone and the fever is gone. His doctor said he'd seen a lot of people with the same thing already this year. Guest guest
Donna, The doctor said fever is not usually associated with allergies nor is a yellow runny nose but my husband has severe allergies and runs a fever with green runny nose. She said with allergies it would be clear. They just spread a lot of mulch outside under the trees and I recieved flowers for Easter and the same thing happened last year when this happened he was sick. I don't know I am not getting a clear answer but the temp was not down this morning but he seems to be bettter now. Thanks for your recipe I will give it a go. Steph Food fight? Guest guest
My personal experience (severe allergies) is no fever, clear runny nose and very itchy, runny eyes. Don't know if that help or not.
