Guest guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 * Exported from MasterCook * Creamy Mushrooms On Toasted Brioche Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 ounces butter 1 1/4 pounds mushrooms -- such as button, shitake, oyster and chestnut, sliced if large 1 clove garlic -- crushed 6 brioche slices 1 carton soured cream -- (142 ml) 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill -- plus extra dill sprigs to garnish Preheat the grill. Heat the butter in a large wok or frying pan. Stir fry the mushrooms and garlic over a fairly high heat for 4-5 mins until soft, then season. Meanwhile, toast the brioche on both sides, then transfer to serving plates. Stir in the soured cream and chopped dill into the mushrooms and cook for 2 mins until bubbling. Serve at once spooned over the toasted brioche, garnished with a dill sprig.
