I love Vegetarian Times. I get lots of tips about new products to try to

ferret out in my neck of the woods and ideas for recipes and they also cover

different health issues vegetarians have. They've given me a lot of

guidance in the last 2 1/2 years in how to change my diet and the different

supplements I should take plus the info that not all supplements are

vegetarian. I even share some of the holistic tips with my friend who isn't

a vegetarian because she's becoming more and more concerned about all

the(preservatives, artificial stuff) that's in the food these days.

" Veg News " , hands down. It has plenty of tasty recipes, often

organized by style and ingredients. The last page always has an easy-

read chart with recipe names denoting whether it's vegan, has egg or

milk or cheese, includes nuts, etc. When quick-searching a recipe for

people with intolerances or preferences, it's great! Also, the

articles provide a wide variety of information about food properties,

health issues, online stores and products to try or avoid, also the

latest in veg stuff in the news... hence the name " Veg News " ! The

writers have a great sense of humor, too. :D

For usefulness, Vegetarian Times but whenever I'm at the dentist I

love to look at Sunset magazine just for the pictures. My sister & I

call it food porn :)

I also love Vegetarian Time and News lots of info great for those learning what

is good and where the animal products are hidden. Last month I learned about the

red wine and the products that are in it I was shocked.

I love the Taste of Home magazine myself. We arent completely vegetarian but

this magazine has alot to offer to everyone. Not just great recipes, but also

household tips, kitchen re-does, contests, even a family favorite prayer every

issue. You really should check it out, and dont forget to look for the

toothpick!!

I love Everyday foods too, by Martha Stewart. There are always plenty of

vegetarian recipes in it and others that I can modify.

I also love going to to their website and to Martha Stewarts website to look

for recipes. Allrecipes.com is another one I frequently use.

I also like Vibrant Life Magazine. It is a healthly living magazine that

shares in an attractive way with lifestyle tips, vegetarian recipes and medical

news.

It is put out by the Seventh Day Adventist church, which promotes a vegetarian

lifestyle. http://tinyurl.com/2pv4ew

Someone mentioned the Wed. newspaper food section. I've gotten good recipes

from there also. Aren't we so lucky that we have so many things

available at our finger tips. Our recipe files here though are outstanding.

I just love to browze thru them and make these tried and true recipes that all

of

you contribute.
