New cat food recall

Hi all I just got back from Petco. Dick van patens natural choice

venison with rice DRY cat food has been found to be contaminated with

that wheat gluten. This is the very best organic food or so I though.

I feed my cats this brand but thankfully not the venison. They have

all there food marked as to which foods have wheat gluten and which

do not

Thank you for posting this information. I feed my gals Science Diet Sr.

and purchase it at Petco.

Just a note. The food is actually called Natural Balance, and not only has

the venison and brown rice food been recalled for cats, but for dogs as

well. That is very disconcerting especially when I used to feed it to my

girl! Thankfully, I know that she cannot have anything with rice in it

period now, so it's no longer a worry for me. But still. It's the fact of

the matter that is so frustrating.
