Guest guest
You're very welcome. I'm down on the south end of your state. We have it in lots of heath food stores here too. I love the Mori-Nu pudding mates and tofu made up into pudding. I lLOVE, LOVE, LOVE the So Delicious Tofu Ice Cream much better than the Tofutti Cuties. The Tofutti Better than Cream Cheese and Sour Cream are good. Donna posted a Cheese Cake recipe that she uses the Better than Cream Cheese in. It should be in the files. LOL about tasting the raw Tofu. I haven't aquired a taste for plain tofu by itself out of the package, like some others here. Not there yet........ Smile. Enjoy, Judy - Rachel Rowell Wednesday, April 18, 2007 5:54 PM [sPAM] Tofutti Many thanks to whomever posted the link for Tofutti products! I looked on there and found the store locator, and much to my amazement, there is a health food store only 20 miles up the highway that carries Tofutti stuff! I called them today and they said they have all sorts of vegan products. YAY! In North Alabama, the vegan pickings are PRETTY SLIM. I tried some silken tofu in a recipe today for chocolate pudding, and nearly gagged when I tasted the tofu just plain! It was really, really good though, mixed up with the cocoa and other stuff to make the pudding. Rachel .
Guest guest
I made a health store visit today in Gadsden and bought some Tofutti Cuties in chocolate flavor today, and they were really really good. I got some soy thousand island dressing, and some veggie burger mix, and some Mori-Nu tofu to make into pudding. It was nice to find somewhere that carries things you can't find at Wally World! Guest guest
Raw tofu rocks! And So Delicious is definitely the best ice cream substitute around. As for the Tofutti Cuties, they have the same problem your standard ice cream sandwiches do, that is, the cookie part is often soggy (well, at least not crisp enough for my tastes). -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > You're very welcome.
