Guest guest
I get it in the health food section of the nearby Safeway Store. Fred Meyer has it, too. I am wondering about is where it was you bought it at. Did you have to go to a health food store to find it? The idea of a raw in the regular Mayonnaise is just too much to handle. Ever since they started talking about eggs and salmonella, I fry my eggs till done, where I used to just love to take my toast and dunk it in the yolk, well no more! I want to go shopping soon for some of this instead. BarbaraBarbara J. Gordon
Guest guest
I haven't tried Veganaise yet but yesterday decided to check it out. I had 2 choices - Original or Organic. My choice would be Organic and it was over $1 cheaper than the original. Does anyone have any idea why the organic would be cheaper. It's usually the other way around, isn't it? I need to finish up a jar of mayo first. :-((( Thanks ( ) ( __ c\_/ Audrey

Guest guest
I have wondered the same thing, if there is a considerable difference in taste. Guest guest
I can't tell a fifference in taste between them, the grapeseed oil has a slightly gray color though. Guest guest
That is good to hear that there really isn't a difference in taste, only that one is organic and the other is not. Now if I pick up the wrong one, it won't necessarily be a " wrong " choice. Awesome! Guest guest
I'm not vegetarian yet but I use this mayo. It tastes better than Kraft to me. Guest guest
I would have tried this last year but I kept looking on the self at the heath food store instead of the refrigerated section. I just started buying it and it is very flavorful. Guest guest
Okay I bought a jar on Tuesday after hearing everyone rave about it. It is very good although it seemed a bit salty but still a good replacement for my low fat mayo. 'Do what thou wilt, but harm none'. Each individual is responsible for discovering his or her own true nature and developing it fully, in harmony with the outer world. Guest guest
Can the veganaise be used just like regular mayo? i.e. baked in baked goods, cooked in casseroles, etc. Kelly
Guest guest
I make potato salad with it and all I hear is, this is the best potato salad I have ever eaten, what in the world is in it. Just plain simple ingredients tossed with Veganaise. I have many people hooked on it. Guest guest
Oh my!! My oldest DD loves potato salad. I have not made it since going veg. I will definitely make a small batch! I bet it is heavenly. Real mayo does not have much of a taste to me and is very bland. The Veganaise has such a wonderful kick to it!! One question, did you replace your eggs with Tofu? I am vegan, but my girls are allowed to eat cheese. So, I was wondering if tofu would fit the bill or am I able to just omit an egg substitute and still have a wonderful potato salad? Thanks, -Gypsy Re: Veganaise Posted by: " thelilacflower " thelilacflower thelilacflower Fri Jul 11, 2008 8:48 pm (PDT) I make potato salad with it and all I hear is, this is the best potato salad I have ever eaten, what in the world is in it.
