Guest guest
Has anyone ever grilled veggies on a George Forman before?? I was thinking of making portobello mushroom fajitas tonight for dinner and was just curious how the veggies come out. Tracey
Guest guest
I have the Hamilton Beach clone of the GF Grill and I love it and cook fresh vegetables on it all the time. They come out super. Keep checking on them so you won't overcook them. They do cook up fast. Guest guest
I love the Foreman grill. Get some bamboo skewars and make kebobs, marinate them and grill. I use mushrooms, zicchini slices, pearl onions, all 4 colors of bell peppers, pineapple, yam slices, cherry tomatoes on the kebobs. I also grill tofu steaks. Potatoes are goon too, I slice potatoes lengthwise and grill. You will love the porti mushroom, I usually baste with a combo of teriyaki and soy sauce as it grills. Guest guest
I have made portabella burgery on the forman grill. Formanizing them makes them juicy, and doesn't break down the structure of the shroom so they are still chewy. Guest guest
Its been my experience that the portabellos come out nicer if you remove the gills. The grill makes fine veggies , " Tracey Ward " <traceymosko wrote: > > Has anyone ever grilled veggies on a George Forman before??
