My guess is that some commercial marshmallow cremes have gelatin in them. Yes? No? Commercial marshmallows have gelatin in them, at least the ones I've seen in the stores. Guest guest
Jet Puffed by Kraft does not have gelatin. My kids use it in hot cocoa and I like it too. I am not a big marshmallow fan, but I like this stuff. When I found out that the marshmallows had gelatin in them, I stopped buying them for my kids, even though they aren't vegetarians. They like the marshmallow creme better anyway. It is not vegan, but there is not gelatin. INGREDIENTS: corn syrup, sugar, water, egg whites, cream of tartar, artificial and natural flavor, xanthan gum, artificial color (blue#1). ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~> , gsmattingly@a... wrote: > > One block of cream cheese and once small jar of marshmallow creme. > > My guess is that some commercial marshmallow cremes have gelatin > in them. Guest guest
" good karma " <karmacharmer@m...> wrote: > One block of cream cheese and once small jar of marshmallow creme... OMG it's so good! Just mix and mix til all the cream cheese lumps are gone (if you are serving it... when it's just for me i really don't mind some lumps!) Yes! This is what I remembered my mom making. I bought a jar of raspberry marshmallow fluff and beat it into the cream cheese with a little fruit juice to thin it. Its WAY too pink for my tastes (mom's was always white, but I thought the raspberry would be nice), but it tastes just like I remember it. The hint of berry is a nice addition, I think, and it was so easy. Thank you! -- Sherri If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'. Guest guest
My favorite things to eat this with are strawberries. However, it is also good with other fruit (cantaloupe, grapes, apples). I'm just biased to strawberries! Fruit Dip 1 jar marshmallow cream 1 container plain cream cheese Soften the cream cheese in the microwave first to make stirring easier. After microwaving, mix it with the marshmallow cream. Refrigerate the dip before serving. -Alyssa Version: 7.5.467 / Virus Database: 269.6.6/794 - Release 5/8/2007 2:23 PM
