Guest guest
I don't eat much in the way of faux meat at present, but had used yves' crumbles and thought them very good so tried these. Overall they aren't as successful as the crumbles, but still pretty good. These are little round dumpling shapes, made from the usual soy and wheat combinations. Heated in the microwave they're a little plain and mushy. Frying brings out their seasoning more, and of course adds the flavor of the oil or whatever you use for frying. Frying them also makes them a bit chewier; gives them a heavier mouth feel, but not by much. In summary, these are good but not great. They'll work in any meal in which you use them, but compared to other faux meat products (even others by the same company), they don't stand out. peace and blessings, ben
