Guest guest
you don't really believe this, do you? Douglas Anderson <djandersonza wrote: Did you know? Pineapple contains bromelin, an enzyme that breaks down protein. This enzyme's reaction on protein (for example, human flesh) is such that plantation workers and pineapple packers have to wear gloves to protect their hands. The enzyme's properties are destroyed by cooking, but when eating fresh pineapple you might consider eating it quickly, before it starts to eat you! Guest guest
Well, if it is real it would make sense why whenever I eat a lot of pineapple I get a little " burned " on the sides of my mouth On 5/17/07, Beth Renzetti <elmothree2000 wrote: > > you don't really believe this, do you? > > Douglas Anderson <djandersonza <djandersonza%40>> > wrote: Did you know? > Pineapple contains bromelin, an enzyme that breaks down protein. Guest guest
I don't believe a bad thing about pineapple. It has a lot of vitamin C like tomatoes, oranges, lemons and strawberries and if I over eat any of those I will get a little blister in my mouth but that's about it. I love it and eat it at least twice a week. That had to be some type of a ridiculous joke posted on the net.
