Guest guest
Noit doesn't make sense. A pomegranate is nothing like a mango and a mango is nothing like a bell pepper. LOL Can you believe when I shop at Whole Foods the cashiers will have to ask me what types of vegetables I'm buying and they will be chard, parsnips, jicama, Japanese eggplant. Nothing really strange and yet they ring these things up all day long and have no clue. I just don't understand that. Donna --- Alyssa <LyssasSong wrote: > I am very confused. Guest guest
This is for Alyssa and the difference between Mangoes and Pomgranates. A Mango comes in reds and greens and sometimes both. They have no real top to them and are very smoothe. Pomgranates have a " Top that looks like a crown " at one end and they can be " faceted " or shall I say they are no very smooth. They can have " lines " like when you cut open an orange and see the sections. And the Mango is a solid fruit whereas the pomgranate is not. Buy one of each and cut them in half and you will never forget. Luanne
Guest guest
The link I gave in the previous email had " limes. " attached. This one should work. http://tinyurl.com/2ghkw5 , " Norman Sussman " <norm wrote: > > This is a link to a picture of a bowl containing a mango (in the middle), a > pomegranate (at the top), and two limes. http://tinyurl.com/2ghkw5 > > > > > >
Guest guest
I asked a friend of mine about them because I know she has had pomegranates in the past. LOL, turns out that my family was mixed up! That thing was really a mango in the store and was not mislabeled. It just happened that the first time my mom saw it in a huge fruit basket sent to my grandmother earlier this year, she thought it was a pomegranate. So... I have still not ever tried a pomegranate!
