I have egg allergies, and so much store-bought ice cream and so many homemade recipes contain them. Plus we have a good friend who's always coming over to play chess with my wife and watch NASCAR and eat our food, and he's lactose-intolerant. This will be so awesome for summer if they work. Guest guest Posted June 6, 2007 Report Share Posted June 6, 2007 I was so excited that I followed her links to ice cream makers and found there is a freezer/churn attachment with good reviews that attaches to my Kitchen Aid mixer. My maker is a cheapy electric with salt/ice version and I have always had trouble with consistency with that model. New to vegetarian life by only a few weeks. Juggling act with 2 kids and DH that still eat all food sources ( and 4 cats!). Looking foward to experimenting with the vegan recipes AND the arrival of my new ice cream maker. thanks for the posting the blog site. I'm reading and learning alot. So many areas in foods that I just never considered would be a problem and eating out - WOW. big eye opener - the food choices are so limited or not there at all.......
