Guest guest
I noticed just the opposite. Everything that was bothering me cleared up immediately when I became vegetarian. All my stomach problems, broken out skin and allergies. My hair even shines. Guest guest
It may be unrelated to vegetarianism, but my allergies have become worse! Could be trying new grains, produce, etc. exposes someone who is sensitive to new allergens? I have no plans to eat meat, but I had kind of been thinking the same thing, wasn't sure if it was just happening w/ age or being meat free! melissa , " majestic_potion " <majestic_potion wrote: > > I noticed just the opposite. Guest guest
I believe [and it is simply my personal belief] that once you become a vegetarian, you become more sensitive, physically, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually. My theory is that you may have not noticed these allergies before because they were covered up by the lower vibrations of meat coming into your body. I have been a vegetarian since 1976. My whole life changed when I became a vegetarian. It occurred as I embarked on a life of a divorced single woman. What actually caused these changes--I will never know. I simply know that once I walked down that road, I could never turn back. I am not sorry that I took this " road less traveled " as it benefits me every day, especially being more sensitive to everything around me. But, it does have its inconveniences like being outside the mainstream, not being able to take many commercial medications and having to rely on herbs as my major source of medicine. I can no longer walk into the animal exhibits at that county fair because I can feel the inappropriate early death awaiting these creatures, even though I love animals of all kinds. I can go on and on, but these are among many. In my early years, the many changes were pretty scary. Now I look at them and say " well, what is coming around the corner next? " May you walk in peace and love, Kathleen It may be unrelated to vegetarianism, but my allergies have become worse! Guest guest
I think that I had been sensative to cashews before, but never ate a lot of them. When I became vegetarian I would get hungry sooner and I would snack. I had a big can of cashews and ate a handfull of shelled nuts every afternoon and sometimes again before I went to bed. When I ate a lot more of them the sensitivity became much more of a problem. Katie majestic_potion <majestic_potion wrote: I noticed just the opposite.
