Guest guest
I'm pretty sure it's a Morning Star Farm burger at Burger King. There were coupons inside the Morningstar Farm boxes for 50cents off a BK veggie burger. THis was years ago, so they at least USED to be Morningstar Farm. Don't know if they've changed since. Several chain restaurants offer a veggie burger option, but many of them are Boca and I don't like that brand's burger at all. Really nice of the restaurants to offer a veggie option, though. Guest guest
I'd be curious to know how they cook the veggie burgers. Guest guest
Doesn't BK just toss them in the microwave? Or I guess their grill thing. I dunno... the only fastfood place I worked at was Arby's (a primary roastbeef place). It was gross, but it was a job. Guest guest
I think it's Red Robins that has a veggie burger as well. Manny Brown's does. And there's a new place that popped up here called CheeBurger CheeBurger. They make their own veggie burger, but I think it does have cheese in it. They'll add any toppings you want; they have loads of items to choose from. Amethyst Pat <a0003539 wrote: Denny's has boca burger; Chili's has black bean burger. Guest guest
We have a place here in LA (lower Alabama) called Backyard Burgers and they have a veggie burger, too. Rebecca
Guest guest
Most sub places have veggie sandwiches, Quiznos has one that is awesome. It comes with lots of veggies, different choices of sauces, and guacamole. We also have pita places like Pita Pit and Extreme Pita that serve several different kinds of vegetarian sandwiches. Some of our chinese restaurants will substitute tofu in place of meat in most of their dishes. Hope this gives you some ideas. Cherie , " R.S. Guest guest
Somehow I just don't trust getting a veggie burger anywhere but at home. (I could be wrong) but after giving up meat for all times, I am just afraid that veggie burger will be cooked on the same grill as the hamburgers. Yes, it could be popped in the microwave, but that's not the way I cook them at home. Sue ---- R.S. Guest guest
Rebecca, Thank you so much for sharing this! We have one here in GA too, assuming it's the same thing... I'm definitely going to have to look on the menu the next time I go. -Alyssa On Behalf Of R.S. Guest guest
I have a friend who works at Burger King, and my aunt is a manager at the same one. They both said they microwave them - they don't cook them on the same stove as the meat is cooked on, contrary to popular belief. -Sara- In a message dated 6/7/2007 8:57:17 A.M.
