Guest guest
I am still using and loving my " garlic cookies " . They are in a bag in the freezer and when I am in a hurry I just drop one cookie into whatever I am cooking. They thaw instantly and then brown and taste just like fresh minced garlic. Guest guest
A couple months ago I was trying to make garlic juice. I put about 30 glaves of garlic through my juicer and ended up with about 2 cups of garlic juice and a whole lot of pulp. Not wanting to waste it, I shapped the still very strong garlic into chunks about the size of a walnut and froze them. Why I call them garlic cookies is because my ever-hungry husband say the lumps sitting on a cookie sheet out on our back deck (which was the temperature of a freezer at the time) and thought they looked like coconut cookies. He popped one in his mouth and just about came unglued! It really was quite funny, but he still accuses me of trying to poison him with garlic cookies. Katie " Tina M. Guest guest
I did not realize how much sodium was in garlic salt until not too long ago. Now, I try to avoid it, and I'm working on getting some other sodium-filled ingredients out of my diet as well. Calls for creativity when trying to sub for those things since they make foods taste so good! -Alyssa On Behalf Of akfral Garlic salt In a message dated 6/7/2007 3:40:53 P.M.
