Guest guest
Does anyone here know anything about fibromyalgia? I was talking to a friend the other day and was telling her about somethings that I deal with and she said it sounded like I could have this problem. I cant afford to go to the doctor and am trying to research it myself first. I read that the symptoms can be the same for it and hypothyroidism. I would like to know if there are things I can do with my diet to allieviate symptoms, etc. Thanks Cherie
Guest guest
HI, I have fibromyalgia and hypothryoidism and I am told by some of the people on my thyroid support groups that fibro. is a symptom of hypothyriodism. Have you had yours checked lately? Bev , " Cherie " <csulery wrote: > > Does anyone here know anything about fibromyalgia? Guest guest
This is very interesting. I have fibromyalgia but nothing was said about doing tests for hypothryoidism. Perhaps because I don't have health insurance. I've tried to eat healthier, fish included but given that up this week, and I work intensively in the gardens here. Now I'm hoping that with our new vegetarian regime and getting in the fresh air working in the gardens plus a positive mind set I will feel better. If nothing else, the sense of accomplishment will help gobs and gobs, oodles and oodles... All the best, Pam ---- Bev 6/21/2007 5:54:52 PM Re: (OT) a question... Guest guest
, " Cherie " <csulery wrote: > > Does anyone here know anything about fibromyalgia? > Yes, Cherie, I know a lot about fibromyalgia, was first examined by a dr for unexplained pain at age 2 1/2, finally diagnosed at age 48. I found a book in the library and diagnosed myself, my primary dr sent me to a rheumitologist who confirmed it. here is a link to the web site of the Dr who wrote the book I found http://www.sover.net/~devstar/index.htm she has it too and really knows. lots of good info on how to live with it and not make it worse. peace, Angela
Guest guest
No, it's not you or your insurance, it's the doctors, they don't acknowledge much of anything.. you have to find things out on your own,, NO LIE!!!! So, if you have a computer you've got it made..just do searches.. Bev - In , " Pam Fedrowisch " <pfedrowisch wrote: > > This is very interesting.
