Guest guest
I usually have " fried " oatmaeal. It's really toasted oatmeal. I love the flavor of this, NOT your boring old pasty oatmeal! Sorry, no measurements for this one. *Add a bit of olive oil (enough to coat the oatmeal) to a frying pan that has a lid *Heat on med-high heat *Toss in the amount of oatmeal you want to make *Toast oatmeal to desired darkness (this happens quickly), stirring frequently *Remove from heat, add salt to taste (sometimes I add a few herbs) *Add enough water to just barely cover oatmeal *Put lid on top *Let sit for 3-5 minutes depending on amount of oatmeal I make enough up for a few days and keep it in the fridge, just heat in the microwave...sometimes I'll add a bit of Earth Balance (vegan margarine) Enjoy! Guest guest
Lately it has been Envirokidz Peanut Butter Panda Puffs (I love pandas and peanut butter!), chocolate soy milk, and piece of fruit. To be perfectly honest, though, I am staying in a hotel at the moment, and can't resist their tropical fruit bowls or (even worse!) delicious cinnamon rolls! " Just one and savor it, " I tell myself. And we have a pool and fitness center. Blessed be, Jayelle
Guest guest
That sounds yummy Stephanie, I can't wait to try it. I usually eat a whole grain bagel or lately it has been organic steel cut oats cooked in my rice cooker and I use apple juice and cut up apples with oats, cook in rice cooker for about 20 minutes, unplug and let it sit another 10 minutes. The organic steel cut oats really give a nice crunchy oatmeal as opposed to sad, wimpy oatmeal..LOL Lisa , Stephanie Scott <stargazerlily72 wrote: > > I usually have " fried " oatmaeal.
