Guest guest
I saw this in the bulk section of my health food market and decided to try it. Anyone else use this ? Let me know how much to use and if it compliments a certain veggie? Deanna in Colorado

Guest guest
I love white pepper but just because it's fine and light doesn't mean it isn't hot. Be careful, it will sneak up on you. Guest guest
I use it just like black pepper, but in things that I don't want the black speck to show. You need a little more than black, but otherwise it is pretty much the same. Katie genny_y2k <genny_y2k wrote: I saw this in the bulk section of my health food market and decided to try it. Guest guest
Yes, I have already grated powdery white pepper and white peppercorns for self-grating. I like both although when I want a true taste then I will use the peppercorns and grate them myself. They are particularly good on salads Luanne
Guest guest
We love white pepper, it is very fine - just use it sparingly, a little goes a long way! Also, it's a great substitute for black pepper, as black pepper is a carb craver, and we used white pepper to helps us kick the black pepper habit! doc , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k wrote: > > I saw this in the bulk section of my health food market and decided to > try it. Guest guest
Thanks Doc, I never used pepper until lately when I started using fresh ground . But I like the idea of white pepper in white sauces. Do you know anything about the 'Licorice plant'? I just purchased it at a very reduced price but not sure if it is just an ornamental or an herb. I couldn't find much about it on the Net. Guest guest
My dad used to use white pepper in his mashed potatoes at the restaurant he owned and they were really yummy (and I don't like pepper!). ) Rachel ~ Mommy to Gavin (07/05) & New Year Baby on the way ~ KUSTOMIZED KIDS ~ http://www.cafepress.com/kustomizedkids Baby & Kids, Pregnancy, Natural Parenting, Wedding, & Personalized Clothing Designs
