Mustard Greens(question of the week)

You wash the leaves and put them in salad! I don't like cooked greens

(so far), but it turns out I do like these and Swiss chard raw in

salads. Just go gently - that mustard flavor can be strong. Oh, also

interesting raw on sandwiches, with the same caveat.

Ginger,

This was just what I was looking for..Someone who likes raw

greens..This is my first time growing Mustard so was not sure about how

it tasted raw. I really like the idea of putting it on a sandwich. I

will pick mine when it is young and not so sharp.

We love raw greens too! If it's green and edible... you will find it in our

salad! We love the flavor Mustard Greens gives us and we mostly eat them raw!

Rarely do we cook them! We like the flavor with lettuce greens, a little miner's

lettuce and some red onion! Yumarama!

First time that I have grown Curly Mustard..Very pretty plant. I have

been eating Mesclun for weeks now, so Mustard will be a tasty

addition.

You guys are mui macho!

 

I sometimes put mustard greens in my smoothie and, oy, so spicy! Lotsa

great nutrition., though. :-)
