Guest guest
To keep a long story short, a few days ago my dog was admitted to the vet for liver problems because of possible poison! I am writing to get more suggestions for non toxic cleaning ideas. We are already fairly natural, baking soda as a scrub, no chlorine bleach, 7th Generation dish soap.. However, my one purchased product was to clean and mop our bamboo floors-Method. I didn't think this was especially bad, but maybe it built up on his paws or something! Would dilute castile soap and water or vinegar and water be better/less toxic on the floors? thanks, melissa
Guest guest
I checked out a book called organic housekeeping by ellen sandbeck. It says to never wet mop bamboo. Sweep, vacume, or dry mop frequently. wipe up spills immediately. wipe clean with a lightly dampened cloth and wipe dry(this can be done by one quick spritz from your spray bottle of cleaning vinegar, drop the cloth on the floor and push it around with a dutch rubber broom. do not use an acrylic floor wax on a floor with a urethane finish. Also, could he have eaten a house plant or one outside? I feel for you. We lost both of our pets in the past year to using chemicals in our home. I will pray for your furbaby. , " Melissa " <mapalicka wrote: > > To keep a long story short, a few days ago my dog was admitted to the > vet for liver problems because of possible poison! Guest guest
I hope your dog is doing well. I just wanted to let you know that Method is not toxic. I would think maybe it was from something outside.
