Guest guest
You're very welcome Paul; I hope you like it I use vegetable bullion cubes - a brand called Telma; they are in the kosher section usually. Knorr has a vegetable bullion cube too and Swanson (I think) has veggie broth in a can. There are several good recipes here in the files for homemade veggie broth. In a pinch you could just use water or beer. If you do use beer, don't use a pilsner - too sharp and thin a taste. Lager or porter would be better. Let us know what you come up with & how it turns out. Peace, Diane , paul winters <paulrball2003 wrote: > > Thank you so much for the chili receipe Diane .. sounds great and i will make some tomorrow. but around where i live in middle tennessee i have never seen any " vegetable stock " where do you get yours ? > > > Paul > > strayfeather1 <otherbox2001 wrote: > Hi Paul, > I make this every year for my fantasy football draft at the request of > the meatheads, I mean the other team owners and they gobble up the > whole pot. Guest guest
Um, uh, pilsner is a type of lager. Some classify it as a pale lager. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lager I've been to Plzen and the brewery there although I must admit to preferring ales.
