You're very welcome Paul; I hope you like it :) I use vegetable

bullion cubes - a brand called Telma; they are in the kosher section

usually. Knorr has a vegetable bullion cube too and Swanson (I think)

has veggie broth in a can. There are several good recipes here in the

files for homemade veggie broth. In a pinch you could just use water

or beer. If you do use beer, don't use a pilsner - too sharp and thin

a taste. Lager or porter would be better. :) Let us know what you

come up with & how it turns out. :)

Um, uh, pilsner is a type of lager. Some

classify it as a pale lager.

I've been to Plzen and the brewery there

although I must admit to preferring ales.
