Guest guest
I really appreciate the articles. I can't believe it. I eat hemp by the spoonfuls. I have a bunch in the freezer. The guys at Whole Foods said I better get it now because soon or later they will ban it coming in from Canada. It's so good for you and the flavor is wonderful. Well, don't get me started on the whole hemp species..LOL I have so many friends that are on medical bud for cancer, Aids, M.S., fibro and they are almost prescription free now. But you know we have to keep those drug compaies in business with all their side effects. Guest guest
I watched a special about US DEA agents constantly going onto a US Native American Reservation and destroying their Hemp fields. These people are growing Hemp as a joint tribal money making project. It is their plan to sell the Hemp for food and clothing. What an ignorant, disgraceful, time consuming thing for a govt. agency to do. These Native People are presently taking this to court. DEA needs to concentrate on the Heroin, and Cocaine ,etc. coming across our borders. Guest guest
I won't quote because it is not really topical but here's an interesting page of numbers on prison populations. http://www.hrw.org/reports/2000/usa/Rcedrg00-03.htm Very interesting graphs, assuming their statistics are true: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/dcf/enforce.htm And now back to your topic: Attempting to enforce drug laws on hemp used for clothing, rope, etc., is pretty ludicrous. If they plant the hemp that is normally used for such things, similar to the hemp that grows along back roads and railroad tracks in Kansas, the only effect a person will get from attempting to smoke said hemp is an extremely bad head ache. In college some individuals collected burlap sacks full of it. A lot of wasted energy . . . since they weren't trying to use it for making clothes or rope.
