Guest guest
Hi I am a new member living in Ontario, and just starting out to gradually replace meat with vegetable sources. I can do that easier now as I am an empty-nester and there is only me and my hubby to worry about. Are any of you folks in that age group or have I come to the wrong spot? Maybe I should google " empty-nester-going-nuts-eating-nuts-vegetarian " ... Anyway...I don't know much about this way of eating, but I am a nurse and I do know that most females between the ages of 20-40ish may have problems with low iron because of their cycles, and you have need to adjust your diet by adding veggies that are deep green in colour. If your iron is way down, it may be because you fall in this age group, and you may need to take iron. Consult with your doctor. I doubt you are sick. I have been wrong...according to my kids... Anyway, I am looking forward to learning allo I can from this group as learning is an age long thing, right? Wendy

Guest guest
I am an expty nester, except for the occasionally grandchild that climbs back into the nest. I live in Alaska and entertain myself cooking and gardening. You should see the fine crop of organic snow I grow every year!
