Guest guest
Valerie Fjallstrom <vfjallstrom asked, " ...does anyone have any yummy vegan recipes that are low in sodium? " Because of my husband's high blood pressure, I usually use about half the salt listed in most recipes. I use low sodium soy sauce. Some flavors that can substitute for salt, depending on the recipe, are lemon juice and herb mixes - such as Mrs. Dash or Spike. There are commercial salt substitutes, but they taste really gross to me.

Guest guest
You may also want to check out my new cookbook at http://www.vegandonelight.com Low-sodium, low-fat cooking is my bailiwick. It's been endorsed by the PCRM and well-received by customers, some of whose comments you can read at the above. [Thanks Donna for approving this little self-promotion. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.] For low-sodium products, including sauces, etc. that are hard to find in grocery stores, my fav resource is http://www.healthyheartmarket.com/ They're always adding new products and take requests.
