I want to make a breakfast [or other meal] casserole; with bread, eggs cheese

....sort of the " usual " one. May I have some suggestions for the best " mock

sausage, " to add to it please? Has anyone made their own?

Thank You!

FWIW.....our absolute best favorite, the one we feel is most like " real "

breakfast sausage, is Morningstar Sausage Patties. I make a Sausage 'n'

Gravy and Biscuits that, according to my " gourmet " son, rivals anything Bob

Evans made.

For a lower fat recommendation, I also like Boca sausage links.

I use Gimme Lean. It is easy to obtain. I made sausage gravy when my kids

were here in July. They never knew until after they finished eating. And

I also like Morningstar Classic Breakfast Scramblers.

Hi Barbara!

I never thought of making Gravy and Biscuits with the Moringstar sausage

patties! Great Idea!

Do you have a special gravy you make from recipe, or do you just purchase the

gravy? SP
