Guest guest
I have been making panini sandwiches and the Foreman Grill works as well as a heavy skillet and another skillet on top of the sandwich. I use all types of things in the sandwiches. They are filling! Guest guest
I LOVE panini sandwiches too and bought a panini maker for myself last year on my birthday. It has been so handy. I got it at Target. I usually make a Veggie Melt Panini. We love them. My recipes are in the sandwich files, I think.......... I used to make panini's with the two skillet method like Donna mentioned, turning the sandwich over to crisp it on both sides, but could only make maybe 2 at a time. With my Panini maker, I can make 4 large ones all at the same time and they crisp on both sides at the same time in just a couple minutes or so.. I love it! Last night I toasted some rustic French Bread slices, then spooned some some heated Vegetarian Chili on top, sprinkled with diced onions and cheddar cheese. I popped it into my toaster oven until the cheese was bubbling on top. Only took about 5 minutes or so. We had a toasted salad and seedless watermellon. It was delicious! Guest guest
We have been eating a lot of , hmm. I guess quesidillas. I put the whole wheat or corn tortillas on my George Forman, .. Add my veggies, some cheese pop on the top tortilla and in just about 2 minutes, I have lunch or dinner, no dirty dishes, no pots or pans, and with those weird sponges, it's clean in 2 minutes. With hubbys, I usually add pepperoni or maybe some chicken . Cause he doesn't consider it a meal unless he eats M**t. Although I have been slipping him various substitutes and he's not noticed. He loved the 'chicken' sandwiches we had yesterday for lunch Marcia

Or are they raw when you add them?
