Guest guest
I do not read any e-mail sent in all Caps. If you have trouble seeing change the size of your fonts. I have offended Anna by contacting her off line and advising her that I find posts submitted in all caps difficult to read. Anna advised me that she is offended by my off line message and that she types in all caps because she has a " sight problem " . She also states that she is no longer going to be a member of this group. I feel badly that Anna is offended. I had no intention of hurting her feelings. I'm hoping that she reads this and continues in the group. I am truely sorry. Deanna in Colorado
Guest guest
Well you apologized and I always think that takes a lot from a person and the person on the other end should accept and work beyond something so small, she could write to the mods if she was upset so we wish Anna lots of luck in finding a group where she's more comfortable in. Sorry if she left us. Guest guest
Deanna, I think we all started out writing in all caps. At least I did. And that was about 10 years ago. I finally realized that no one else was using that caps lock key. I have a dear friend who writes only in caps. She is also the one who forwards me jokes that I have to open 5 or 6 times before I can read the original. (Duh....now why do I do that?) I too, have a sight problem. I hope that Anna is able to look around her and notice the she is the " odd man out " . (smile) You probably saved her from much embarrassment when some one in another group would " yell " right back at her. I am sorry she was so sensitive and hope she comes back to the group. Each one of us is special and important to this group. That's what makes us so great. I know you had no intention of hurting her feelings, as you have always written in a kindly manner. Guest guest
I've been writing back and forth with Anna and I hope she will come back. She holds no bad feelings towards Deanna, I think she is sensitive to her medical condition and wasn't familiar with what Caps usually mean in posts. I explained the same thing, she might use them in another group and have her feelings hurt by a rude posters) within the group. Let's hope she comes back and can benefit from the recipes, posts and wonderful support from all the members. Donna --- Sue <kup wrote: > Deanna, I think we all started out writing in all > caps.
