I read a lot of words which I hardly ever hear in conversation and every once in a while I'll use them in conversation . . . and then find out I didn't have a clue as to the " accepted " pronunciation. They still figured out what I was saying, usually. I bet it isn't pronounced the same by everyone and in every part of the US and certainly not the world. I like it no matter how you pronounce it.
