I just wanted you all to know this has happened to me this morning.

 

I tried to log into my messenger this morning and it said I was logged

out

 

Because I had been logged into a different machine.

 

Then was told I have been sending instant messages asking them to click on

a

 

Website to view my pictures. Seems it takes you to a geocities web site,

which I later

 

Found out that if you click on it some one steals your pass word.

 

I just talked to my mother who also has messenger and she got the

message from me

 

To click on that website to view pictures.. She did.. Now her is gone.

 

And the strange thing is the person that send her that message ( which wasn

t me )

 

Also called her by the nick name I gave her years ago that hardly any one of

my on line

 

Friends know. So that itself is very strange.

 

Then I checked my POGO email and got this message..

 

 

Hey folks...

 

Im sending this pogo mail to warn you.... I had my password stolen today. I

received a IM from a true friend which turned out to be bogus. Now I

have no access to my IM or account. I know of others who have the same

prob. Please PLEASE!!!! .. If you get an IM from me with any kids of link in

it DO NOT CLK ON IT! It is a bogus link in attempt to steal your password!

I hope this hasnt happened to anyone else I know. If it has I am truly sorry

Download and run Spybot, Microsoft Defender, Spyware Doctor and

Adaware, They are all free. Also run your antivirus. If that does

not work, then run all of these in Safe Mode.
