Guest guest
Pretty much all the same type of raw veggie relish..depending on what part of the world you live in. Most of the time what goes into the mixture depends on where you live, what you grow, and what you have left over after harvest. In our area it is mostly onions, peppers, cauliflower, cabbage and carrots. My Hispanic friends make their's HOT ! Anglo farm folk tend to make theirs's just pickled. No hot peppers. Not sure about other parts of the country I can only speak for some of us here in Colorado. My daughter and I will be making some and it will be a combination of Anglo-Hispanic cultures. We also will be canning the pickled Jalapenos, and the Jalapeno jelly. We will make plain old 'just pickle relish' for wimps like me who can't handle too much " HOT " !
