Guest guest
I have changed over to an envoirnmentally friendly vegan dishwasher and I look at the adverts on telly for the non corrosive one and I look at my corroded glassware and I am thinking that I am not doing the envoirnment any good if I have to replace stuf. Has anyone got a gentle non corrosive suggestion Mary
Guest guest
O.K., I give up. What the heck is a vegan dishwasher? A vegan that washes dishes by hand? How are your glasses getting corroded? Generally only metal corrodes. ~~sigh~~ I'm totally confused here <g> Lynda - Mary Minihane <minih Monday, July 04, 2005 9:55 AM Dishwasher > I have changed over to an envoirnmentally friendly vegan dishwasher > and I look at the adverts on telly for the non corrosive one and I > look at my corroded glassware and I am thinking that I am not doing > the envoirnment any good if I have to replace stuf. Guest guest
I think that there was an unconcious decision not to add the word detergent in my original message because I probably knew that I would misspell it and my glassware look as if someone has scratched them. I would not mind but this stuf is at least twice as costly as the regular stuf and it has taken me a long time to convience myself that I should splash out on it Mary , " Lynda " <lurine@s...> wrote: > O.K., I give up. Guest guest
How about making your own? I belong to another list that has all kinds of " stuff " on that is either frugal or back to basics. I know there is a laundry soap recipe and a dishsoap recipe but I don't know about the dishwasher one. I can ask. Guest guest
Thanks Peter but these were the ones that I was bitching about (ecover). I have logged on to that website and see that the pack of 25 is £4.50 UK. I pay €7.25 for the same pack over here (Cork)which is 29cents per tablet ( I have a small dishwasher so I cut them in 2 which helps). I was hoping that some one would come up with a home made remedy which would save my glassware and my money.
