Guest guest
That sounds good Nikki BB Jo I agree, I think it goes very well with pasta. I take the easy route though. Steam it, put on soy butter and then garlic powder. Or melt soy butter with fresh pressed garlic in it and drizzle it on and then use it to top off the pasta. Of course, I'm the only one in the household that eats it this way. Nikki , " Michael Benis " <michael.benis@n...> wrote: > Also makes a great pasta sauce. Guest guest
Lynda, Would the vegetable brooth replace both the water and the milk part or just the water? Then use soy milk for the milk part? And a soy butter for the butter? Or am I all confussed? Oh, also, if the soy margarine does not say "not for cooking" it can be used correct? Thanks, DragonspirithealerLynda <lurine wrote: Use vegetable brooth, either from a package or from any other veggies youmight be cooking that night.Lynda- "earthstrm" <nikkimackMonday, August 01, 2005 5:13 AM Re: Broccoli against cancer> Hi Jonnie>> We use light soy butter and light soy milk and they turn out> wonderful! Guest guest
I've used it instead of the milk. If I am using homemade broth from whatever veggies of the evening, sometimes one doesn't even need the butter. There is lots of flavor without it. Guest guest
For the soy butter we use Earth Balance. For soy milk I like Soy Dream Enriched, the hubby uses Silk Light Vanilla (best on the fat content) and DS drinks Silk Chocolate. For potatoes though the Soy Dream is used. Chocalate or Vanilla potatoes doesn't sound too good to me. But we do substitute if we cannot get the brand we like. You can use whatever brand you wish, by what tastes best to you.
