My name is Crystal and I am a 27 year old mother and wife. I have been Vegan for only about 3 months. I was an 'on and off' Vegetarian for the past 10 years. I am going Vegan alone because my Husband and son are carnivores and happy to be that way. I don't have any friends or know anyone who is a Vegan. As you can imagine it is very difficult for me to stay true to my cause when everyone I kow doesn't understand or respect my decision. I am determined to maintain my Vegan lifestyle and need support from other Vegans to keep me motivated. I look forward to meeting like minded people and having intelligent discussions. It must be difficult to go it alone, but there are people here who are in the same situation, and everyone is supportive, and seem to have different areas of knowledge on food etc. Please do join in, and if we're not discussing vegan issues enough, ask us questions or start new threads. I went veggie for health reasons, so thankfully they tolerate it because I don't have a choice. It isn't easy, that's for sure!
