The latest research would suggest it is wise to take B12 supplementation, as it keeps homocysteine levels in a good range, which means you avoid any heart trouble. You can take supplements daily or a larger one weekly. There are foods that have B12 added, such as Kelloggs Cornflakes (vegan in the UK) and several soya milks. There is a book by Stephen Walsh, Plant Based Nutrition (I think) that is very helpful. For B12 I usually use fortified cereals and soy milk to make sure I get an adequate amount. This is probably one of the most important vitamins to make sure that you are receiving as it is most prominent in meat products. You can buy vitamins, but make sure that they are Vegan. Many vitamins use gelatin for their capsels. I usually go to the health store for these.
