Pasado to manage intake facility for rescue animal!

Since HSUS can no longer operate at Lamar Dickson Equestrian Center

(they were ordered by the state to cease accepting animals as of last

Friday) HSUS has approached Pasado's Safe Haven to act as an intake

facility for rescued animals. We have agreed to this provided

PasadoRescuers manage this arrangement. This cooperative arrangement

will allow rescue groups to continue to save animals. 90 animals were

brought in to PasadoRescue's Raceland, LA triage facility today.

WHAT WE NEED:

--Volunteers at our Raceland, LA facility. We anticipate rescuing

through October 15th. If you can come, please contact us below.

--Hot meal for PasadoRescuers. We anticipate staying at least another

two weeks to assure that all animals in need of rescue are saved.

Please order a hot meal for them. Many generous donors have fed our

crew for the last month, giving them something to look forward to

after long, difficult days. Call C'est Cajun' Catering (Penny feeds

each person for only $3.38 and it's great food Tel: 985-532-8273).

Please order a combination of vegetarian and vegan (no animal

products) for 40. She knows where to deliver!
